At Gunner Point on Hayling Island beach come and join us for 1h30 of exercises on the beach. Bring a mat and some resistance bands as after a 5mn warm up, we'll do two set of core exercises (especially the obliques). Then we'll continue with a 30mn full body workout and we'll finish with a 30mn stretch & mobilize routine. Finally, to feel reenergized, we shall be walking in the sea (wetsuit recommended).

What about starting your Sunday morning working out on the beach enjoying the benefits of the sea breeze ?
So 9.30, not too early, not too late, we'll start with a warm up, hopefully the sun will be out as well.
We'll start with 2 sets of core conditioning (at least it is done), on the mat.
We'll follow by a full body workout through a mix of alternating exercises
using our body weight and your resistance bands.
Then, we'll do a 30mn stretch & mobilize routine from head to toe.
Being so close to the sea, and weather permitting, we can all enjoy the benefits of sea walking:
- positive mental impact: soothing and relaxing effect,
- gentle massage: lymphatic drainage
- improve blood flow and provide a good legs drainage to combat heavy legs syndrome
- a natural and gentle exfoliation, a smoothed skin (for the skin with direct contact to the sea water).
- firming of the flesh
And don't forget, the others more direct effects:
- water resistance, current and tide, make works harder than thin air
- alleviate the weight on joints while walking, so can keep the range of motion
- burn fat to keep the body temperature at 37C, when the water is 13C as it is a gentle exercise.
And all of these without sweating! As you are in the water.
